Zoo Story

So a couple of days ago I went to the zoo with someone. It was pretty awesome. Beautiful day. Cotton Candy. Polar Bears. It was cool. Only thing that sucked was that I forgot that all the zoo’s elephants had died a couple years ago. I wanted to see the elephants, but they weren’t there. Damn, I miss those elephants.

Damn, elephants are awesome.

Damn, elephants are awesome.

The lions were cool too. I wish I had a camera with me because they were just layin on these rocks, sunbathing. Just relaxing in the middle of the day.

But zoos are a little weird for me too. I love animals and nature, so seeing lions and polar bears is awesome. But seeing them in cages and pens sucks, and makes me feel bad. But then again, these animals in zoos can help give kids an interest and respect for animals and nature at an early age, and zoos can raise money and bring attention to endangered species and shrinking habitat. It’s a double-edged sword kind of thing. At the end of the day, I’m a hypocrite, and I like zoos.

Couldn’t resist posting this. Classic. I saw some ferocious animals at the zoo, but nothing even close to ODB. RIP

Found this song on 2DB yesterday. An unreleased Dilla and Guilty Simpson track. I love stuff like this. Dilla was the king. Runnin’ is one of my favorite tracks (ever). Guilty Simpson’s pretty cool too. Ode To The Ghetto was a pretty interesting album last year with that dirty, Detroit sound. For instance, that song I Must Love You had this dirty, cacophonous backdrop. But it was banging too, so I listened to it over and over again. When Guilty and Dilla got together, it was something special.

This track, like their other collabs, is pretty sweet. It sounds like Dilla played with a Beatles sample and turned it into something crazy. Check it out.

Stress– Guilty Simpson (prod. by J Dilla)
